ESAs Joint Committee defines its priorities for 2019

The Joint Committee of the European Supervisory Authorities (EBA, ESMA, EIOPA) published its 2019 Work Programme.

In 2019, under the chairmanship of EIOPA, the three ESAs will continue its work in the areas of consumer protection, cross-sectoral risk analysis, anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing (AML/CFT), financial conglomerates as well as accounting and auditing. The Joint Committee will particularly focus its work on PRIIPs, financial innovation, sustainable finance and securitisation, as well as on improving the cooperation of AML/CFT supervisors and the consistent application of AML/CFT standards in the EU.
